The Voice- Overs Alan has performed over the years are too numerous to list but include various television commercials for ads like Chuck Wagon Dog Food and Coca-Cola. Of these credits, Alan performed the first ever voice over for CNN’s television coverage ads. Radio commercials performed were ads for station sponsors and advertisers. Alan often scripted and chose every element involved and produced these ads himself.
Different forms of narration require a range of tone and articulation that support Alan’s range used for Videos, On-Hold systems, and Audio Books. Alan has a reputation for his ability to perform a convincing read on the first take; a quality developed through his many years of live hosting and Public Address Announcing.
Known for motivating a crowd, Alan has been sought for his prowess for teaching sales and speaking to graduating classes on success and guidance based on his own career successes in writing, business building, technology creation and patenting, etc. Add a little humor and the excitement and motivation builds!
Starting on Armed Forces Radio in the 70’s, Alan has worked as an On-Air-Personality off and on over the years and was recognized for his abilities to do professional remote reporting, commercial production and scripting, on-air interviews, and overall adlib creativity.
In the past, Alan has hosted a Ms. Texas pageant, as well as multiple charity events for organizations such as Texas Children’s Hospital, Boys & Girls Country, and Leukemia Society. As an MC and a DJ, Alan’s ability to adlib creative content and flow within a live atmosphere has proven to be valuable qualities.
In high-paced sales environments such as auctions, Alan hosted the First Saturday Computer Market in Dallas for a major computer company and was so dynamic in this effort that he was soon featured on all the local news channels. In addition, Alan has hosted charity auction fund raisers for Boys & Girls Country and the Houston Music Alliance among others.
